Toasty only attacked when his Sleeping Dogs were gone. Once he was defeated, Toasty released several Gems. In order to Spyro defeat the Toasty, Spyro must first defeat his Sleeping Dogs (they took two hits one to char them, and a second to finish them off), and then flame him. Spyro eventually came to the castle, freed Nevin, fought Toasty and his Sleeping Dogs, and defeated Toasty himself, not before realizing that Toasty was just a simple Sheep. Toasty took over Nevin's castle domain and was protected by his Shepherd minions and their Sleeping Dogs. His true sheep form has horns, singed wool and wears a bell around his neck.Īfter Gnasty Gnorc froze the dragons in crystal, he put one of his most cunning, and intelligent minions to be in charge of the Artisans realm: Toasty. His Jack-o-lantern is smaller and has a more wicked smile, with a bell hanging beneath it. In the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Toasty is taller with a more hunched stature and his coat is more worn-out and it covers his 'feet' (however they could still be seen if one looks closely). In the last area he is merely an angry sheep standing on stilts. If he eats a chicken, he heals. In the first two areas of Toasty's boss fight, his outfit consists of a big red coat, a big red hat, an orange Jack-o-lantern for his head, a carrot on for his nose, straw hands, a scythe to attack Spyro with, and wooden feet with straw toes. If he eats a missile, you’re likely gonna get hit, but just keep running no matter what. If he eats a barrel he will send fire across the ground. If he eats a bomb, he throws fireballs, just back away and scoot through them. The power-up attacks to be honest are preferred. Try the circle, seriously, remember: not around him, but just a circle in general. Each time he fires, head into an opposite direction. If you’re running in circles, he’s going to lob them in a far distance away in a direction you’re never going to head in, that’s going to make you basically immune from the attack.ĭon’t run in circles around him, though, as that’s the easiest way to get hit by the attack. Think of it like this, he sends the orb in front of you. By the time you’re back at the start of your circle, the orb there would have dissipated, and you won’t have to worry about it. If he’s in the center of the room start your circle at the very edge and just loop around. When he starts lobbing the five or so orbs at you, that’s when running in a circle is amazing. At the start, when it’s two orbs, you just have to zigzag, it’s not that hard. Run in circles, not around the room, but in one spot. You can keep going straight through him, but sometimes it doesn’t work as well as curving away. He’ll jump before you reach him and then you can just move left or right to clear him. Don’t run away from him, just charge right at him. Run right through him and to the left or right a bit, whatever is closer to being away from him. Spyro reignited trilogy boss how to#If you’ve 100% the game and are here for the achievement, use Superflame: How to Avoid the Charge 99 lives makes it easy to retry this battle. Oh real quick, check out the cheat codes. So here is how to beat him and not stress over the battle. I almost went insane trying to beat him until I finally “got it.” The reason Gulp is so hard, compared to the rest of the games, is that his orb attack fires in front of you and in Reignited it’s very good at predicting what in front of you is.
